Chad Mooney is a commercial photographer based in Bloomfield, New Jersey, specializing in real estate, drone, product, and landscape photography. His preference of utilizing natural light in his work aims to blend elements of nature with the controlled environment of the studio.

Chad graduated summa cum laude from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in photography. He is the owner and lead photographer of Chad Mooney Photography LLC, specializing in visual media services throughout New Jersey. Since 2015, Chad has also collaborated with Donna Bassin—a photo-based artist, filmmaker, and published author from Montclair, New Jersey—on a variety of creative projects across the tri-state area.

His photographs have been featured in several group exhibitions, including the Morris Museum, the New York Center for Photographic Art, and the Bloomfield Cultural Commission.

When not at work, Chad can be found on a hiking trail, traveling to new and distant places​ (especially with his husky, Talc), or enjoying time at a local craft beer brewery among friends.
